Tips for writing great posts that increase your site traffic

Myra Keal • April 5, 2022

Write about something you know. If you don’t know much about a specific topic that will interest your readers, invite an expert to write about it.

Speak to your audience

You know your audience better than anyone else, so keep them in mind as you write your blog posts. Write about things they care about. If you have a company Facebook page, look here to find topics to write about

Take a few moments to plan your post

Once you have a great idea for a post, write the first draft. Some people like to start with the title and then work on the paragraphs. Other people like to start with subtitles and go from there. Choose the method that works for you.

Don’t forget to add images

Be sure to include a few high-quality images in your blog. Images break up the text and make it more readable. They can also convey emotions or ideas that are hard to put into words.

Edit carefully before posting

Once you’re happy with the text, put it aside for a day or two, and then re-read it. You’ll probably find a few things you want to add, and a couple more that you want to remove. Have a friend or colleague look it over to make sure there are no mistakes. When your post is error-free, set it up in your blog and publish.

"TAKE TIME TO BE PROUD OF HOW FAR YOU HAVE COME" Beautiful Calm LLC. Why did I choose this particular Title for the subject of my first Vlog? Is this something you do on a regular? If you are anything like me, probably not. Once I accomplish a job, or task, I quickly move on to the next. Once I overcome a problem, a hurdle, or obstacle, I usually don't look back. Sound familiar? That's what I thought. Generally, we are so engrossed in whatever fete we must undergo, once it is over, we rarely take the time to reflect on the details...how did my undergoing this affect my life, my attitude, my outlook? We also don't take the time to measure our growth, if any at all. Where was I when I began this journey? When did I start to see change, if any? What did I accomplish? In other words, Am I proud of how far I have come? Of course! Have I taken the time to acknowledge how far I have come? Maybe even to celebrate it? Why is it important to be proud of your accomplishments? Let's say you're a seamstress. You've been hired to create this one-of-a-kind gown for a prominent woman in the community. You're working on the bodice, which contains different source.

WE RISE UP! For most, life does not include jet rides to exotic islands and being pampered back to good health and great feelings. Although, I think we could easily get used to it. Right? But it's not our lives. And you know what...that's ok. We may be down in the mire, but we will rise. Choosing the logo for my brand was no accident. I've always been fascinated with the Lotus Flower. So, I decided to look up the origin. And I liked what I found out. The lotus begins life in the mud, yes at the bottom of a murky pond. But then it rises to the surface to blossom. The lotus symbolizes the passage from darkness to light, the passage from ignorance to wisdom. It represents enlightenment. Reading that, I knew I had chosen wisely. When you enter a new 'stage' in life, many call it a rebirth or being born again. Symbolically, you may have been at the bottom of a pond, in the mud. As your new path becomes clear, you begin to rise to the surface. The sunlight hits your face, you feel the warmth, new ideas begin to flow. And you blossom! This process is very important to your growth, renewal, and self-preservation. Self-care demands that you take a "time-out". It's the only way for you to heal, renew, and grow... It's the only way for you to blossom. Here at BeautifulCalm, we want to help you take your much needed "time-out" so you can rise up out of the mud and blossom. We are here to help you embrace your process of self-care. Need help choosing the right products for you? Reach out and I will be more than happy to assist you. beautifulcalmbr@gmail.com (225) 205-1459

Allow me to Introduce Myself! My name is Myra and I am the creator and owner of BeautifulCalm LLC. Some of you are customers of BeautifulCalm LLC (BCbr), so we are familiar with each other. And we are so grateful for each of you! Some of you have watched my reels, lives, and posts on InstaGram, TikTok, and/or YouTube. However, many of you are not familiar with me or my company, our products, or what we stand for. I'd like to change that, and I thought this would be a great start. So... Here at BeautifulCalm, we make aromatherapy bath and body products, such as soaps, soaks, scrubs, butters, and so much more. All items are handmade, using only organic, natural, plant-based vegan ingredients. What does all this mean for you, the customer? It means no artificial ingredients are added so the essential oils are 100% pure. It means no harsh chemicals, no parabens, no animal testing, no cruelty. It means that the majority of the plants and herbs - aloe vera, rosemary, mint, and others - are homegrown at my home. Those that aren't are purchased locally. It also means that our process is eco-friendly and environmentally safe. I am especially proud of our CPF (chronic pain and fatigue) line...Products with a purpose. Why did I retire early and why did I go into a line of work that I knew absolutely nothing about? Let me explain... My Story A little over 15 years ago, I was newly divorced, had just purchased a home on my own, and started a new job, a whole new life...all at the age of 50! So, I settled into my new routine... a job that was less stress, yardwork that I grew to love, and updating my new home. I was finally happy again and life was good... for about five (5) years. Then it all changed. One Saturday, I started my housecleaning as usual starting in the kitchen, then on to the den and dining area. Last on the list were the bathrooms and bedrooms. Only this time, things didn't go as usual. I barely made it through the kitchen when the pain began. I started feeling achy and sore, just pain everywhere and everything were hurting so badly. I barely made it to my bedroom, took ibuprofen and a shower and went to bed. I didn't know what happened, but I was sure it was just a one-off and that it wouldn't happen again. Of course, I was wrong. It happened time and again and it only got worse. That was the beginning of a very dark and depressing time. After several years, I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. My numbers, or markers, were not those of someone with RA, which does happen and makes it more difficult to diagnose. However, my symptoms made it very evident. The problem I had was that RA explained the pain and swelling in my joints, but it didn't explain the other more worrisome symptoms... the pain in my extremities, the memory loss and mental fog, the burning sensation on my skin, the constant fatigue. And it seemed that there was something new every day. I was in misery and my way of life had all but disappeared. I could no longer do the things I was used to doing. In fact, I could hardly do anything anymore. It was another two (2) years before it was finally determined what was wrong... Fibromyalgia, another autoimmune illness. There is no cure for either RA or Fibromyalgia. I was working full-time and couldn't function on the pain medicines. So, I had to come up with an alternative. After lots of research, trial and error, testing, more research, trial and error, and testing, the BeautifulCalm product line was born. I look forward to hearing from you guys. Please let me know your story. And please, be sure to come back for more!
